Ellen Pestili is an author and illustrator of children’s book. She has written 15 books and illustrated around 50. She is an artist painter as well. She is Brazilian with Italian descent (more precisely from an Italian colony in Brazil called “Quiririm”). Nowadays, she lives with her husband and two sons in Madison, Wisconsin, United States.
