When I first read the story of this book so I could illustrate it, I desired to embroider, just like the girl was doing in the book. I didn’t think twice: I took a needle and colorful threads and embroidered all the messages she wrote. I invited my mom to embroider with me and I had such a great time illustrating this book.
The book became an animation for the “Livros Animados (Animated Books)” television program, shown on the Futura channel on July 23rd, 2015.
