The technique I chose to illustrate this book was varied. First, I drew with water-soluble colored pencils. After, I painted the doll characters with acrylic paint and overlapped it with soft pastel. To paint the scenes, I used soft pastel as well. One of the illustrations from this book was picked to participate in the 5th Annual Children’s Literature Illustration exhibition “Traçando Histórias (Creating Stories)” in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2006.
